HD Brows Process

Green Wavy Line

Here at Pretty Little Things Beauty, we want to make sure you’re happy and confident throughout the HD Brows Process. We’ll start with a consultation so we can ensure that we’re working towards the same goals and creating your dream eyebrow shape. We then follow a process of tinting, using a bespoke HD Brows Dye, followed by Waxing, Threading and Tweezing. We’ll let you know our best aftercare advice and give you recommendations for the best products that will work for you.

We’ve detailed the process below so you can understand exactly why we take each step, and how they all work together in achieving your ideal eyebrow shape.

Consultation

We’ll begin with a consultation to find out exactly what we’re aiming for with your brows. Our stylist will take into consideration your face shape, skin tone and style to help you decide the right brow look for you. From bushed up brows to neat and defined, we’ll work together to decide your perfect style.

Tinting

A HD Brow tint is different from a regular eyebrow tint in a number of ways. Firstly, unlike a regular eyebrow tint, our HD Brows stylist applies the tint around the brow to ensure we’re picking up those fair and fluffy hair that you often don’t even know are there! We use custom-blended HD Brow Dyes to make sure we’re using a bespoke colour which compliments your hair and skin tone perfectly.

Please note the tint is semi-permanent and you’ll need to do a patch test 48 hours prior to your appointment. Patch testing will take place in the salon. Any redness, itching or swelling must be communicated to your HD Brow stylist who will offer advice on the best course of action. Should a skin reaction take place the tint element will not be performed during your treatment.

Waxing

Our Pretty Little Things stylist will start to create your desired eyebrow shape as discussed in the initial consultation, using our exclusive brow mapping techniques and the HD Brows exclusive formula of waxing. We work towards your long-term goals so keep in mind are areas where you may want to re-grow hair and work from there.

Threading

After waxing, your HD Brows stylist will use threading to make sure they’re creating a smooth and neat finish. We want to ensure there’s no sign of waxing, so we use the threading technique to remove any of those fine and fluffy hairs that sit above and below the brow.

Tweezing and finishing

At Pretty Little Things Beauty, this is our favourite part of the process! We’re perfectionists, so this is where we really start to see what we’ve created and we can work to make those fresh brows even fresher. At this point, your HD Brows stylist will tweeze any stray hairs if necessary and trim unruly hairs down. We’ll also use the HD Brows make up range to create a perfect finish that suits your style and face and leaves you feeling fresh and happy with your brand new brows!

Aftercare

To achieve your dream brows is a true collaboration between your stylist and yourself. Once your Pretty Little Things Beauty stylist has finished your treatment, she’ll let you know the best aftercare advice to help maintain your results, along with some great product recommendations that will keep your brows looking their best. Following the aftercare advice will help keep your brows looking fresher for longer and is especially important if you’re on a re-growth programme. You’ll be working towards your dream brows together with your stylist

If you want to find out a little more about the way HD Brows works and what they could do for you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch to speak to your Pretty Little Things Beauty stylist. We’ll be more than happy to help!
