It’s important to know that HD Brows are not a permanent treatment. Although, if you work with Pretty Little Things Beauty on a regrowth programme, the hairs you accumulate during this process will be permanent, which is exactly what we want! This will give us the perfect base to create your perfect brows.
Although the treatment is not considered to be permanent, or semi-permanent, your HD Brows stylist will use a permanent tint on your brows during your treatment. This custom-blended colour tint is applied to the whole brow area and the desired colour will be your choice. This tint, as well as the shaping of the brows will be subject to fading and regrowth over time, meaning you’ll need to attend upkeep appointments to ensure your brows are as fresh as possible.
Whilst the lasting effects of the HD Brows process will vary depending on skin type, hair growth, skincare and a number of other individual factors, on average HD Brows will typically last between 4 and 6 weeks with the effect tending to last longer when aftercare advice is followed.
There are many benefits to choosing HD Brows over an alternative permanent treatment for achieving your ideal eyebrows. Costs are lower for a HD Brow treatment than other alternatives that are often used. Whilst HD Brows start from £25 depending on the stylist and the location, a microblading technician – on average will charge anything from £200-800 for the treatment. Prices can vary depending on the outcome of your consultation but it’s always worth chatting with your Pretty Little Things Beauty stylist about an estimate. We’re more than happy to help and give you some guidance before you commit to your first HD Brows appointment.
It’s also worth remembering that choosing HD Brows as a less permanent option means that it leaves more room for experimentation. As Microblading is a semi-permanent technique that sits under the tattooing family – pigment is implanted into the skin, with a fine needle hand-held tool, that creates hair-like strokes to mimic the appearance of a natural looking brow. The benefits of HD Brows as a non-permanent treatment is that you can work with your stylist to not only create a more refined look immediately, but work towards regrowth of your eyebrow hair and work towards a shared eyebrow goal with your Pretty Little Things Beauty stylist. If you decide to try a different shape or style at some point down the line, with HD Brows you can! Our bespoke custom-blended colour also means that you can experiment with the tint we use on your eyebrows – allowing you to try a bolder, darker brow or a softer, more tonally blended colour choice.
