Whether you have naturally thinner eyebrows, or you’ve gone a little too far with the plucking at some point (we’ve all been there and we blame the 90s!) HD Brows can definitely help.
As well as overplucking, sparse brows can be due to scars, hair thinning, ageing or just lack of hair growth, causing brows to look patchy and thin. This also encompasses hair loss due to skin conditions, infection, changes in hormones, thyroid problems, an overactive immune system, nutritional deficiencies, stress or physical trauma. We’re not going to lie to you – there’s no quick and easy fix to take your eyebrows from thin to thick in one appointment; we can’t grow new eyebrow hairs in an hour – although we’d love to! It requires a consistent regrowth programme combined with some skilful filling in until your eyebrows have grown out to the desired thickness to create the look we want. However, as long as you arrive at our Pretty Little Things Beauty salon armed with a little patience, we can absolutely achieve your brow goals in the long term, and we’ll enjoy doing it!
When you start on your regrowth journey, you’ll need to think about what shape and style you’re working towards to most suit your face shape. That’s why you’ll have an initial consultation with our HD Brows stylist so we can work together with you to determine your ideal shape, size, and colour, as well as letting you know exactly how we grow out your eyebrows. We will educate you on the areas needed to grow in, as well as recommending a suitable brow product to use in the sparse area, that will give the appearance of fuller brows during the interim period.
We’ll also need you to say goodbye to the tweezers. We know it can be so tempting to reach for them again as areas begin to regrow and they may look unruly or uneven, but we’ll need you to promise us that you’ll stay away from the tweezers until your brows have fully grown out. We’ll be working super hard to achieve your desired look and one wrong move with the tweezers won’t be good! It’ll be worth it – we promise!
Whilst we said earlier that you won’t leave your first appointment with immediate big, beautiful and bushy eyebrows – that doesn’t mean it won’t look like that! We’ll use clever make-up techniques to give the illusion of a thicker, defined brow until you have the real thing.
